From Near-Death to Life as a Teacher
Maureen Green
Maureen Green is one of the few near-death experiencers who has pre-birth
memories of being encouraged by spiritual beings to live an earth life that
would lead to abuse. She was told she would then become one of the few adults
who could work meaningfully with teens who had gone through the same trauma.
Three years ago Maureen received her Masters degree in Mathematics. Today she
teaches abused kids at a lockdown facility in Auburn. Because of the multiple
near-death experiences she had when she was younger, which Maureen will share,
she can now "see" the potential within the disturbed personalities of these kids
and draw that out. Please come and listen to this remarkable woman.

Wesak Full Moon Meditation
Mark Ray and Karen Johannsen
Please join us in this annual meditation that celebrates the life of the Lord
Buddha. It is said that every year at the time of the Full Moon in Taurus, he
returns to give humanity His great blessing. In group meditation we will tune
into His energy as transmitted through humanity's spiritual hierarchy. By
participating with millions of people around the world meditating in unison, we
can create a powerful force for peace and soul culture.
Mark and Karen have led this annual meditation for several years.

Gaianplasticity: A Basis for Subtle Action
David Spangler
Some of the most exciting work going on in neuroscience and the study of the
brain is the discovery of neuroplasticity. By focusing our mind, we energize the
neurons in our brains to form new connections which can have profound effects on
our health and well being. There is a similar process at work in the etheric
structure of the planet, and the power of our attention and intention can change
its subtle energy fields. This "gaianplasticity" forms a basis for doing inner
work on behalf of humanity. In this talk, David will discuss gaianplasticity and
offer techniques for developing one's skills at subtle activism.
David Spangler is an internationally known spiritual teacher, a former director
of the Findhorn Foundation community, and director of education for the Lorian
Association. He is the author of many books on spirituality and teaches a number
of classes online over the Internet at www.Lorian.org.

Theosophy 103
Ed Alden
Modern Theosophy offers a worldview that is all-encompassing and, therefore,
complex. But the “core” ideas are few and easy to understand. They provide an
understanding of our existence that is radically optimistic and affirms our
place in the great drama of Creation. This series of three lectures will review
and explore those core ideas, each lecture discussing several of the core ideas.
This third session will focus on the purpose of our lives and on the glorious
way ahead.
Ed Alden is a long time Theosophist and is a member of the Seattle Lodge.

The Challenge of Meaningful Interfaith Dialogue: An Experiential Afternoon with
the“Interfaith Amigos"
Rabbi Ted Falcon, Rev. Don Mackenzie, Sheikh Jaml Rahman
During the past six months, the "Interfaith Amigos" have been touring and
teaching in places as diverse as Abilene, Houston, New York, Princeton, and
Boston. They have presented to different cultural groups as well as to different
religious communities.
From their experiences with teachings based on their guidebook to interfaith
dialogue, Getting to the Heart of Interfaith: The Hope-Filled, Eye-Opening
Friendship of a Pastor, a Rabbi, and a Sheikh, they have learned much.
In this two-hour afternoon workshop, they will share some of their recent
experiences, and will encourage participants to enter into dialogue with others.
Here is an opportunity for you to discover some of the challenges to interfaith
dialogue personally, and to learn how to encourage greater interfaith dialogue
and collaboration in your own life.

World Predictions 2010 - 2020
James Kelleher
A leading Vedic Astrologer, James Kelleher will share his insights on the
economy, the war on terrorism, and earthquakes. Jim will describe the coming
changes for the USA in the seven-year period of Mars which began in September of
2008. For the past ten years, in his annual predictions, Jim repeatedly pointed
to 2008 as a huge year of transition for the world. This was reflected
astrologically by a major period shift that took place for the USA and several
other countries.
Jim always brings charts of people and countries in the news, which he describes
in a way that even the non-astrologer can understand.
Jim will be available for readings in Seattle on June 19th. He can be contacted
at 408-354-6719 or james@jameskelleher.com. For more information, go to
