Awakening Your Inner Self We think we know
who we are. But do we? H. P. Blavatsky taught that to obtain self
knowledge, we must awaken our Divine Inner Self. She maintained that we
cannot do it by reason alone or by merely studying spiritual literature.
What, then, are we to do if we seek to awaken our Inner Self? Karmic law
moves us all toward that awakening, but there is a direct route. At its
summit lies reward past telling. There are no road maps, but there is a
direction that we can take to the unbounded joy that radiates from our
own Inner Self. Is It
a Rope or Is It a Snake? Saturday, May 31, 2pm - 5pm Two people see an object in the road. One sees a rope and the other sees a snake. Each one of us sees the world, but we do not see the same world. To some it is a fascinating, joyful place. To others, it is a boring and unhappy place. What we "see" depends largely upon our experience, our beliefs, and our subconscious assumptions. In this program we'll dramatically reveal some of these assumptions and discover how they produce our values, our behavior, and our own joy or sorrow. We shall then examine the Theosophical view of transcendent unity and its potential for self and world transformation.
